Upstream ships a Makefile based build system Since upstream agree on having an ABI maintained: https://jxrlib.codeplex.com/discussions/440294 I switched to a CMake based build system since it is much easier to handle VERSION/SOVERSION. The build system has been proposed upstream for ease of maintenance. -- You can find a test suite at http://www.itu.int/rec/T-REC-T.834 The conformance suite contains a bunch of .jxr files that you can decode with the DPK’s JXRDecApp, WIC on Windows 7 or 8, and the JPEG XR reference software itself.
